As you might imagine, Lochmoor Club holds a wide variety of golf tournaments throughout the season. These competitions provide motivation for members to continue to practice and work to improve their games. These tournaments are usually flighted and open to all members who play the game at Lochmoor. This is a chance for you to meet members of the club. Casual gatherings take place before and afterward in locker rooms, dining rooms and practice areas during the events. Member-Guest tournaments offer a chance to entertain clients, family members, and non-member friends. Guests can enjoy for themselves the Lochmoor Experience that we believe is second to none. Couples events give husbands and wives a chance to compete together on the course and provide yet another outlet for socializing with other couples at the club. Some of the best known tournaments include Member-Member tournaments for both male and female members; the ladies' Heather Invitational and the mens' Scottie Invitational; and, of course, the Club Championship itself. We watch the handicap process carefully to make sure that every player gets a chance to share the spotlight. |
